Tyra Banks Has Been A Harvard Student Since Last Year!!

Some might be surprised to read this but Tyra Banks has been attending Harvard Business School since last year. Why, you ask?

Enrolled in the Harvard Owner/President Management Program, the model-turned-mogul, 37, is intent on building her business savvy. “It’s pretty exclusive,” she told CBS News.

Pricey too. Banks is shelling out $31,000 a year to spend just three weeks on campus for three years. “But I feel like it is so, so worth it,” she said. “In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best.”

The ex Victoria’s Secret stunner has been interested in going back to school since dropping out of Loyola Marymount University to purse modeling at age 17. “The day I put college on hold because I got discovered….was one of the most difficult decisions of my entire life,” she said.

So how do classmates react to the model-student? “I get mixed reactions,” she said. “There are little facial expressions….The chin goes back, like, ‘Really?’…it’s like why is a model going to Harvard? But that’s actually a good thing, because when people have low expectations, you’re just constantly going, ‘Ta-da!’ And they’re like ‘Wow.’ It doesn’t take a lot to wow them.”

Tyra Banks Follows Oprah & Quits Her Talk Show!!

Tyra banks announced this morning that she will no longer be a talk show host and is working on a few new things.”My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Banks said to People. She also told People that she loved her 5 seasons of her CW talk show and though she has made 30 Million over a 12 month period in addition to her other 2 other shows ABC’s “True Beauty” and Americas Next Top Model, she is choosing a different route to spread the love! She now wants to focus on launching Bankable Studios, a production studio she says will work to bring positive images of girls and women to the big screen.

She is one of the few women who made big bucks in 2009 being number 1 on the Forbes list, she has definitely succeeded in everything she pursued and we all know there is more to come from Tyra real soon!

Is This Tyra Banks Real Hair???

This week Tyra Banks announced on twitter that this week she will be exposing her real hair, but for now is wearing a wig or weave until that air date …but this looks like her real hair or is it a mockery of her real hair in wig form? Either way Tyra is fierce and you know it …weave-free hair on the September 8th season premiere of her talk show. She also would like to make that day a “National Real Hair Day so women can feel comfortable with being au natural! Tyra has accomplished so much but I don;t know about “National Real Hair Day” I don’t know if they are going to make it a national thing to be honest, eventually women will forget to not wear weaves or makeup etc, what if the “National Real Hair day” which would be Sept 8th (the day she takes the wig off) is a day a person has a photo shoot , an interview or and audition they may need that good good weave or wig to look good regardless of the “National Day” Tyra probably would forget herself she loves her some front lace wigs and I must say she has one of the best ones out there so its nice to show women that they are beautiful natural but unfortunately in the world we live in there is no such things is “natural”, people enhance themselves if its not in in makeup, its hair , if not hair then body or face …So lets see where this is gonna go …
