T.I. Sued For Copyright Infringement!!!

by Simply Veronica D.

RadarOnline reported T.I.is being sued for copyright infringement by Nathan Filby, aka’ rapper Motoe Blizzid. Filby is being represented by One LLP, an entertainment and intellectual property litigation firm known for handling high-profile copyright infringement suits- is taking issue with the rapper’s 2006 Grammy-award winning song “What You Know”. Filby says the song uses substantial portions of his 2004 track entitled “Reverence.”
He says the musical evidence is irrefutable from their “same rate of harmonic range” to their “virtually identical core harmonic progression of descending 4ths” and “nearly identical instrumental melodic lines in terms of pitch, shape, and rhythm.” Filby even added illustrations in the court documents showing the two songs’ similar melodic similarities.

T.I. Expected To Be Released Early May & Attend Half Way Home??!!

by Simply Veronica D.

T.I.’s release date from prison is March 23 but rumor has it since Tuesday that the king was already out and was quietly at his Atlanta home. It was cleared up after a prison official told The Atlanta Journal Constitution that while TIP is still locked up, he could be out very shortly. (More Info Inside—>)Edmond Ross (prison spokesperson) told the AJC that it was customary for an inmate to transition from prison to freedom by spending time in a halfway house if there is no danger to the community and if there is space at a facility near where he lives.
He also stated:
“Usually that process begins when there are 18 months remaining on a sentence, but in this case it would have to start sooner. It’s not uncommon for inmates to be placed in community corrections for the last portion of their confinement to help with his transition.”
He also mentioned to the AJC that T.I. could serve the final month of his sentence out of the halfway house and in his home in Atlanta.

Glad T.I. will be back soon making good music with his fine a**…just sayin! xoxo
